Moving FAQ
What are your hours?
We are open 6 days a week. Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., and Saturdays from
8:00 a.m. to noon.
How do you come up with the price for our move?
Ernie’s Van & Storage
can send a moving consultant to survey what you need to move, in order to come
up with an accurate price.
Is the price fixed, or is it just an estimate?
It can work both ways, depending what is best for you.
What happens if some of our belongings are damaged?
Ernie’s Van & Storage will act promptly to resolve any damage issues
that may, and sometimes do, occur.
Are you licensed and insured?
We are fully licensed, insured, and bonded.
How do we know you are a legitimate mover?
We are members of both the California Moving & Storage Association (CMSA) and American Moving and Storage Association (AMSA)
How do we know we can trust your staff?
Most of our employees have been with us for years. They are all drug tested,
and have had background checks performed.
Is your storage facility secured at night?
Yes. Our warehouse is fully alarmed, fully fenced, and has a sprinkler system.
It is an "A" Rated and military approved facility. You can rest soundly, night
and day, knowing your belongings are safe.
Can I store items in your facility that need to be kept at room temperature?
Yes. Our storage facility is fully insulated.
Is there a length limit in your boat/auto storage?
No. No length limit.
Can you move me anywhere in the world?
Yes, through our affiliation with Atlas Van Lines.
Are you accustomed to moving antiques and fine art?
Yes. We take great care in handling everything we move.
Do you move pianos?
Yes, from the smallest spinet, to the largest grand piano.
Do you supply clothing wardrobes?
Yes, on all local moves, at no cost to you.
Is there any job too small or large?
No, from one item to large estates, we can do it all.
Can you move my business or office?
Yes. We have the trucks, equipment and experience to move almost anything.
Do you move auto and boats?
Yes.
